Question about Fujitsu Siemens Celsius 670 (LKN:SWD-670115-031) PC Desktop

Freezing Hello,I have a fujitsu siemens personnel comp. At the beginnning i used to copy from my video or tv to my PC to make dvds,then 1 day my hard drive packed up. I renewed my hard drive and after a couple of months i started using the program where i copy from vidoe to Pc again.This program opens up but when i start copying the PC freezes and i have to switch off the PC at the main power supply and switch on again.I never used to have this problem with any other program but just this copying program.As time went on i started having the same problem with other programs and then eventually when i start up the pc before windows can actually open it freezes,then i have to put the pc off again and restart,sometimes it goes a little firther in winddows and freezes again,,,Please help me in solving or the possible reasons why its doing this. regards Rishad Khan

Firstly i would suggest unindtalling the programme and installing again. To give a clue as to what the problem is, go to Control Panel>Performance & Maintanence>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer. On the left hand side, look down the list to Applcations and click on it; and look at the dates when you ran the programme to give a clue as to the fault.

Second, run programs like everesthome to find out its drivers. (Please, don't use an online auto detect program, It can be damage you com by adware or virus, or be hacked.) Then search each drivers.

1. Go to the "my computer" icon and check the C: drive to see how much space is available if less than 20 GB this may be you issue. Not enough storage space.
2. If you have a USB hard drive free. Move some unused data that you want to keep to this hard drive.
3. uninstall any programs that are not used
4. If you have used your PC extensively it may be time for a new hard drive.
5. If you haven't down a "defrag" on this hard drive in year it may well be that this is the issue also.

Hello,
Just a hunch. If external monitor is connected to computer when computer is turned on, video output is diverted to the external monitor. Turn computer on, without external monitor, then extend your desktop to an auxiliary video screen (monitor, TV , or projector.) Or you can configure your computer to use the internal LCD and the monitor. Check the graphics properties of the laptop.

You may be using the incorrect dvd disks either DVD+R or DVD-R
or you might have dual layer DVD disks which you will nedd a Dual layer dvd writer.
