The IC /resistor in convergence circuit(blue) is bad convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks! See link for more detail http://www.ehow.com/how_4575598_yourself-projection-tv-repair-convergence.html
Replace Both of your STK ICs they are your convergence ics they are big black ICs will have Part# on them for example STK392-110, if they are 110s use 180s, if 020s use 040s other wise replace with exact same number. To get Parts call Electronix 1-800-223-3205
Convergence issues usually resolved by changing convergence output amplifier IC's.....Original STK392-110 should be replaced
with upgrade Stk394-160E Hitachi part # CZ 01341,change both
for reliability.....check B+ feed resistors for over-heating....T.
One of your convergence IC's has burned out and needs to be replaced. A good rule here is to go ahead and replace both STK392-110 IC's with the new improved STK392-150's. If you have never replaced convergence IC's and realigned convergence circuits, allow a qualified tech to handle it for you.
