My mp3 player turns on then turns right off - RCA TH1611 MP3 Player

When you plug it into your computer, press "USB Charge" on your V-Touch. This should charge it while its pluged into your computer.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

Connect/Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,
right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

Try this tip.

Mines doing this too - I reset by inserting a paperclip into the tiny reset hole on bottom right side of unit. Pain to have to do every time but it solves issue.

MP3 players are so cheap nowadays, so Id recommend getting a new one instead.

Re-format? Insert it into your pc, and right click the folder from "my computer" and select "re-format" This will whipe your mp3 players files completely so you will have to put your music files back on.

is it in the right mode?

If you have Windows Media Player, then you have to go to Sync. And if your MP3 PLayer is plugged in, it will show the songs you have on you MP3. then jus right click the songs you dont want and go to delete.

It is easier to reformat the mp3 player. When the mp3 is plugged in to the PC, go to my computer, the double click the mp3 player there. You will see internal storage, right click that and click format. You will lose all the stuff on the mp3 player.

If u had deleted Songs off your mp3. u possibley could have deleted a system file that makes ur MP3 function
