Incompatability Issue with HP 5610 All-in-one

If your home or office printer is part of a network, meaning it is connected to a networked computer or router, then it will have a TCP/IP address identifying it on the network. This address can be used to share the printer with new users on the network, or to get ink and paper levels on your computer. This address can be found whether using a simple printer, or a printer/scanner combo machine such as the HP Officejet 5610, which will be used as an example here. M/F Click your PC's "Start" button and choose "Control Panel."
M/F Choose "Printers and Faxes." Left-click "HP Officejet 5610" and choose "Properties."
M/F Click "Ports" then drag the divider between the first and second columns to the right to display further information about your printer, including the TCP/IP address.
M/F Open the "Applications" menu and choose "System Preferences."
M/F Click "Printers."
M/F Choose "HP Officejet 5610" and click "Options and Supplies." All network information for the printer will be displayed.

i have an hp officejet 5610 printer
it is not working .
its showing splooer problum

thatd be a software issue not all printers can work with vista

purchased the HP 5610 Office jet Printer and the warranty is over now. I got the problem and the loca dealer has refused to repair the same due to non availability of logic card. Please suggest me how to get the logic card of 5610 and the cost of logic card. I belogns to Kurukshetra(Haryana). Pl. suggest me.

Your printer most likely requires Vista compatible drivers to run properly. If you still have the CD that came with the printer, look through it to see if there is a Vista driver. If not, go to the following link and download your driver.

Please let me know if you have Windows Vista on the new computer and you are putting the Installation Cd to install the printer on the computer.
Please check if Windows Vista written on the CD. If not no problem. Plug the usb cable to the computer and connect printer. Wait while you get the message that the device is ready to use.
Now try printing abd it will work fine.

If it is still not getting installed.....Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall the drivers for the Printer "Deskjets and Officejet" or anything like that. Then try installing. The issue will be resolved.
