SOURCE: honda cbr 600 rr 2005 fuel tank removal

I had an 07, I had to remove the lower and side fairings and then the bolts are visible, dont just lift it up because wires and the fuel line will be connected and tight. When you lift it, lift easily so you dont just rip everything, you should be able to lift it high enough to disconect the wires without damage.

SOURCE: 1998 Honda Goldwing will not start nothing.

Sort of sounds like a Twilight Zone kind of problem doesn't it. I would have the battery checked for an internal dead short. This is something that happens on odd occasions and can happen even to a new battery. Yea, the little lights will work ( they do not draw much juice ), but the starter motor draws a lot of juice and a shorted battery just ain't got it. Also check the wiring harness connections. One loose connection can cause bunches of trouble.

SOURCE: I own a honda steed 600 v twin. the side stand

Dont know what the filter got to do with it, but side stand switches are normally closed when retracted, simply wiring the two ends together will give continuity till you get around to repairing the wires which are located on the stand pivot arm, lay bike over and look under, likelihood is wires are damaged around swinging arm area, so you must connect wires prior to break and insulate. PS, disconect battery first.

MOTORCYCLE RAN FINE THEN I TOOK APART TO GET PAINTED BUT WHEN I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER IT WOULD NOT START.

Check that you have cleaned the paint off the earth connections. Normally people forget that all earths must have good clean metal to metal contact, start with the main battery earth and the engine to fram earth leads.

Bike won't start and headlights won't turn on . the bike is a honda 05 CBR 600rr.

See if your bike is in the upright position. Then also check if that little round plastic effort with the liquid metal in is still intact. It has a silly plastic ribg with a bolt through and if the ring breaks, it could perhaps not be in the upright position. it sits between the lights, if you ever fall and it is not in the upright position, it cuts the power to the engine to cut it out. This could also be a relay problem.
