Question about Sylvania SRT2432P TV

Blurry picture I have had this TV for about a year and it just went blurry. not just a little fuzzt but a looking through wavy glass unwatchable kinda blurry. I dont know if its fixable or not but I am unsure about lugging a 150 pound tv to a repair shop and spending 100$ to find out its garbage.

    My tv did the same thing just today. Same model and everything, the picture just went majorly blurry where you can't even hardly see anything. Any suggestions at all?

You probably have a focus problem. Possibly the focus control has opened. If so, then you would have to have the Flyback (High Voltage transformer) replaced. The control is integrated into the flyback. Depending on the labor chages and parts prices would determine if you want make that kind of investment. Other problem can also cause this effect such as a bad picture tube, open resistor,bad picture tube socket, etc.

Pictures ar blurry
If you did not drop the camera. It won't be the lens. That said, please have a close look to the lens. Is the front element clean? you could clean it with a soft cloth that is used for glasses too. But also try to look into the lens. Sometimes, when a lens is left is a moist envirement, mold can grow between two elements. The glass you see inside is not bright anymore and gets a grayish look.
When the battery is becoming old, you only can make less pictures with one charge, till it is old and stops. Before the camera could warn you the power is running low.

I am getting a blurry picture that kinda makes it look like a 3d movie without the glasses on with alot of blue
The tv have a problems known as a convergence pictures problems.Tv have any colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,tv have any colors shadows pictures or have a 3D pictures look alike?Yes,than the tv convergence board it is the causes and already dead to have many of these convergence pictures problems.The tv convergence board must have to be repair like replacing 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures many problems.The tvs shops will cost u like $300-$350 for parts and labors.

I too would like to know the solution to this question...we are having the identical problem and Sony doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Although, the picture from the DVD player is perfect, the pictures for cable & video games are terrible. Very frustrating!

WD-52525 screen is jumping all around with wavy horizontal lines etc.

Keep talking to the factory, it is their product. Best Buy won't replace unless it is deemed not repairable and/or terms of the contract. You purchased the extra warranty because you most have felt that the TV might break down. Well, it did, now use the contract to repair your TV.

check for any DRY SOLDER in the pc board , if it still doing the same thing , then replace the VERTICAL OUTPUT IC , and please get the original replacement , generic part no guaranteed that will work 100%

Distorted picture
On the middle circuit board towards rear is a metal wavy plate.On the back side(actually towards screen when looking from rear of unit),the middle screw has a ground wire(light brown) that is loose.

Blurry tv
Sounds like theres a leaky capacitor in the screen drive circuit. I have seen this problem also be a gassy crt but was able to clean off the grids of the CRT with a crt/rejuvinator. It happens because of low emmissions in the tube and when white is on thats a mix of all the colors, so the tube works harder. I bet when you whatch a movie and the scene changes suddenly to a white or brite scene the pic looks a little washed out. If this is not the case then I aggree with the Pravin and try it on another TV just to be sure .. This is not a repair for a consumer to do, though however it is only a three year old set you stated, so there should be life left in the tube, so im kinda thinking a capacitor is bad. Seek out a yechnician to check this out for you as a TV is not a place to see it you can fix it or to exoeeriment with. Good Luck

Mackie onyx 1200f doesn't turn on properly Hello, i have a mackie onyx 1200f. I know it is pretty damn old. However it used to work fine for my setup until yesterday. I turned on the device, play musics and i heard crackling sound and distorted noise. After a while it stopped playing. I turned it off and on again, the power light came up but device didn't work. Long story short, i opened the device turned out 10-12 of capacitors were out of shape and kinda were blown. I have changed all of them. Connect the device again . after 4-5 times turning on and off it came to life and everything was good. I turned it off and on and it died again. Now It powers up, i can see the light but no function at all. It seems something avoid to detect the ports and other stuff. I can turn phantom powers on but the device can not be recognize by computer. Don't know what to do. Is there anyone who can help me check the electric parts? I know a little bit about electronics and have some tools. I don't mind to tear it apart again and check the parts. I can send pictures of the device. Please help me ????????????????
