DVD player says "no disc"

I just started having a problem with my DVD player. I insert a working disc, the screen says "loading disc" and then it says "no disc." I have tried multiple discs so I know that it is not the disc. Also I do not hear the DVD player spinning. It just worked fine yesterday. Unfortunately, the DVD player is about 12 months old and just a few days past the one year warranty. What can I do?

Is there an easy fix when the dvd keeps spinning and screen says loading but does not play?

You have to clean the dirt off the laser lens inside as it cant see the codes on the disc.Use a cleaning disc first or it will have to come apart to clean.

My toshiba sd-3205 will not load any of my DVDs anymore, the discs I insert into the player are in perfect condition and have loaded previously when the DVD player was working. it always says...

Probably dirty pick up lens.
Get a lens cleaning disc and run that and see if that cures problem.

Disc does not appear to load. When inserted in

If you have a disk that you know works, try it. Make sure the disk is not upside down.

Disc is not being read, not spinning

I had this same problem with my Apex AD-500W DVD Player. I decided since everyone said the player basically needed to be replaced it wouldn't hurt to go through the buttons on the remote just to try and figure it out......I DID!!!! I turned on my DVD Player, inserted a disc, turned on my tv and then hit the SYSTEM Button right below the power button until the screen said MULTI and the machine started working perfectly. There are 3 settings in that button, PAL which made my screen go crazy, NTSC ( i have no clue) and MULTI(this one made it work)! Hope it also works for all of you!!!
