I have a problem with my headunit, i have had this unit for 3 years in my car and have discovered some problems.
When i put the unit on, it comes on plays fine, however when u press the volume button or try to change tracks, the unit does not respond. Instead it acts like it is truening it self on again and sometimes, it goes off, thenc oems back on.
can anyone help??

is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.) Hope this helps.
Hello dobbyville11, It might be a few things but here is what i would check 1st, pull out the head unit make sure all the wires are pushed in all the way.
The second thing i would suggest is checking the connection to the battery and ensure that the ternimals are clean and a good connection is available.
If there is something else it might be that you hold down a button while it starts, I know of some headunits that need this.
