Headphone icon hi,
the day b4 yday when i was bathing i had to pick up an important phone call from my workplace. i thought i had taken enough caution taking tht call but after half an hour suddenly the headpone icon came on on the main screen w/o aataching any. now i cant talk on my phone directly as it remains in headphone mode always. to talk i have to use headphones which i hate to do. is there any solution for this??

If you haven't inserted the headphone pin to its socket at the TV; and still the headphone icon displays on the screen; the headphone socket at TV is faulty. Replace it. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It sounds like you have a break in the wires. They make the wires stranded and they are finer than hair but will break if bent back and forth enough or if pulled on hard enough
Was the tap shut-off very tight and the tap is turning but the main shaft may not be turning. Check the hot tap mechanism and compare it to the cold tap.
The solution for me was simple.I removeed the battery,the sim card as suggested but still no joy.So I thought 'this thing thinks I have plugged in the headphones' As I don't have any I took a brush and cleaned the battery,the sim card and the charging port. If in doubt brush every orifice and cleanse it from dust. Check your charger and clean that also. Hey prest, it worked for me!
ne suggestion how to solve this problem?? as 6680 in not launched here in canada the Nokia Care Center denied to repair it.
