I have been using the above printer with success for at least 2 years, however I upgraded my max to a Inter Core 2 duo version 10.5.5 and reinstalled the printer. The printer works ok , ican access Series uninstaller, the 6200 utility and the help options but when select Lexmark 6200 Series Center option nothing happens except a flash from the icon.I have the file on my desktop. Could you please advise where the problem is . .. Regards John Fonti
Hi John, doing a reinstall is not advised unless you completely remove the software first. (Power off the printer).
Try removing all software for the 6200. Once all of the software has been removed restart the system. Check if the 6200 is still listed in, Printers and Faxes. (If it is listed delete it). Than download & install RegCure, which is a free program that will clean windows registry from all none needed keys. Download RegCure from this link: http://www.pctuneuptips.com/recommends/clean/?gclid=CL2RiIrTmpICFSFMGgodODIPzg
Restart your system when RegCure has finished.
Now you can safely reinstall your printer software.

If this doesn't help, you can try gently cleaning the nozzles manually using a cotton ball dipped in a little rubbing alcohol, then dry with a clean cloth. A little ink may come out when you do this and that's OK.
