its simple ,HD stands for "high definition" and either your TV or DVD player cant do HD ,these channels will be only screened in HD ,this is why you cant watch them ,you will need to update one or both of them .THANKS for using FixYa
Make an clean installation of Win 7 and repartition your Hard disk.Use Genuine Windows 7 to avoid blue screen error.AVG 2011 is a very good antivirus.Use Hard disk sanitizer given in Bios settings.Use Tune up utilities 2011or System mechanic latest version.I think your problem will be solved
ur mother bios should support 1TB HDD, only then it ll get detected... u can update the bios of your motherboard with latest bios that is available for ur board in ASus support site...if you update the bios your hdd may get detected...
Cant find specs on your Model. If it is HD 720i or 1080i both will work. But then again the Sky box may convert the HD to composit, which makes ordinary old TV sets look fantastic. On a HD set they look even better. don.t worry it will work.
Most likely, you need to buy an HD Tuner kit. I had the same problem, and after some research, found that "HD Ready" apparently means "buy more equipment". Nice...right?
