Sound driver i have pesario c784 TU laptop. i have changed the operating system from "windows vista" to "windows xp". now audio is not working. i need the sound driver for my laptop and can i solve my problem. please give a solution to it. thank you

I have istalled window XP and i had window vista...but after installation of new one my laptop inspiron 1525 sound system is not working..m trying to install sound driver but thats not properly...
You are download grading your Operating System to XP from Vista. Drivers for Vista and XP are diferent.

You can download the Audio drivers for XP from Dell Support Site for your laptop.
Check your "Device Manager" and uninstall the previous drivers and reinstall the XP Audio drivers downloaded from Dell Site.

Installing your audio drivers on XP:- ***important
You have to install the "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp33867)" first, before intalling the audio drivers Conexant CX20549-12 Audio Driver for Microsoft Windows XP (sp41836.exe).

If you reverse the procedure your audio won't work.

Audio driver problem in HP dv 4 1211 TU
might be your audio driver is not compatible to XP it seem for Vista only try to go device manager to see if there a question mark for driver update and error. if there a error or question mark update it online or try search on google or its manufacture site for a driver . Hope it help you out ^_^

Hmm...the virus you remove probably damaged your sound-drivers, download new ones and reinstal them, here u can do that
