Hi, The Picture on my Sony TV is SLANTED to the Left, like its been rotated counter-clockwise a bit then locked into position. I had another TV sitting in the same spot before and nothing was wrong so its not an external magnetic field. Also someone suggested I go to SET-UP and look for "Picture Rotation" but I've been all over in there and there is no such feature. Can anyone help with this?? Thanx and Happy Holidays!

Re: The picture Is SLANTED / ROTATED off center!!
Some sets have a coil in front of the deflection yoke to compensate for the Earth's magnetic field and on the back panel there is a slide switch that could have been pushed to the wrong position. Since this is a SONY I'm not sure it has this circuit. It is however worth checking out. I hope this will help you.

I have a Sony 300 disc changer that started randomly skipping tracks after it was 8 or 9 years old.
I tried cleaning it, no change.
I opened it up and found an adjustment screw on the reading lens carriage.
Note: It is very hard to see
It rotates approx 1 turn from stop to stop. It was centered from the factory.
I rotated it counterclockwise 1/2 turn, and it got worse.
I rotated it clockwise 1/2 turn, and it is fixed. It hasn't skipped a beat since.

LE error codes on LG front loads are usually caused by the filter being clogged. Remove the small door on front left of machine and remove the filter Some water will come out . Clean the filter and reinsert it and see if that solves the problem
I just realize that is a Toshiba. If you want to try it, you should mark the position of green screen control before you rotate it counter clockwise; do it very slow.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
The adjustment is done by opening the TV back cover, the part that looks like a cone(YOKE) that is mounted at the back of the picture tube needs to be slightly rotate it. To do this you will need to loose the screw that is holding that part and rotate it left or right.
Before doing this, unplug the TV from the main AC power.
Hope this helps.
Your deflection yoke (a coil around the neck of the picture tube) must have gotten turned.
Your can turn the picture upside down by rotating this coil.
If your set is in warranty, you should return it. When this "yoke" is adjusted the color is affected too. If you try this yourself you'd void the warranty and mess up your color.
