Itouch locked and harddrive crashed

plug the usb cable from your computer to your itouch. then use itunes. itunes will do the job automaticly.

well connect it to itunes, and reformat that should do it. If it dosent do the trick then try and restart your ipod

lock on the botom of the router it might be locking for the WEP password on the label

Just restore ur ipod it should still work, but restore it to factory settings not a backup

Hold the OFF button and the HOME button at the same time it should reset.

You Have to contact the previous owner because there is not a way to unlock it with out the password. This is for security reasons.

It's since the touch doesn't officially support WPA PSK and only supports WPA2. What will work is WEP and although it is less secure very few people will bother cracking your network. If you continue to have problems with your secured connection try putting the hex key instead of the passphrase (you set hello as your password the hex would something like 0X34Hg65) it is usually displayed just beneath the password you set.
