Question about Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset

Putting it Back Together - 3mm pin inside the casing

The headset worked perfectly, but it recently fell off my ear on to the floor and stopped working. I noticed the casing actually came had come apart, it simply snaps together in two pieces. Nothing inside seems to be physically damaged, the lead wires are all intact, the buttons click when depressed and the light comes on when I plug it into the charger. However, opening the boom no longer turns the headset on. There is one piece that I cannot figure out what to do with, it is a small ~3mm long plastic gray offest pin one end of the pic is slightly thicker than the other. I am assuming it has something to do with the boom's operation. I called Motorola Support, they mysteriously have no information regarding the technical speifications of the design. If anyone knows the function and correct placment of that tiny little pin I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey, whats going on man? yea, i just dropped my headset on the floor today too. the same thing that happened to you happened to me. well i think i found the solution. if you look at the headset from the bottom theres going to be an indent on the top left corner and underneath it theres going to be a little gold circle thats going to be split in four. thats where the little plastic peice goes, with the black side touching it.

A small srew has fallen out off of the ********, however the piece that it was screwed into still remains inside the ********. I called bowflex and they advised me to buy a whole new ******** which I...

I am not the person to give you advice on fixing your ******** yourself but I did want to give you a link where you can look at a Bowflex SelectTech diagram in case that helps you think about taking it apart or putting it together. You can zoom in to view all the different parts. (If that's not the right one here is version 2). They also have individual parts for sale which may be better than buying a whole new one.

The 3mm jack on the headphones broke on the inside can you send me a wiring diaghram that shows how to rewire to another 3mm jack?

There are two wires.
no matter which way they are connected, they will produce sound.
There will be one way, however, that the sound will be better.

Trial and error will tell you which is the right way, and then you can twist the wires together and tape it, or solder it for a more professional look and seal it using shrink hose.

Hope this helps!

The black rubber earpiece fell off my Plantronics Bluetooth while I was away from home. The device works perfectly, I just need to purchase a package of earpieces. Can anyone tell me where to buy these?

Plantronics has never sold replacement ear buds for the Explorer 330 Bluetooth headset. However you can call Plantronics directly at 800-544-4660 ext 5538 to see what options they may have available for you.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

My web cam stopped working

How? What happend? Did it just all of a sudden stop working randomly? Try taking it off from the computer if its attached with a USB and putting it back in. If it stil the same, un install teh driver for it and reinstall the driver.

Or, if it fell on the floor, then it might have broken a part on the inside

Do you still have your charger cradle? Try putting in the number that's bolded on the bottom of the case. Mine is a twelve digit number and it is the pin number that your phone is looking for. At least it was for mine.

Rubber earbud covers fall off, get stuck in your ear or lost

For replacement pads, I'm not sure.

As for sticking them on with glue, I would just use a very small dot of regular superglue on top and bottom (Approx the size of half a grain of rice at largest, more like 1/10th the size)

Harman Kardon Soundsticks I - back of tweeter has come off

I took a screwdriver and pried mine open (at one of the ends, not the center), snapped my tweeter back in place, took model airplane glue and a Q-tip, covered the ridge side (not the grooved side) of the case with just a little line of glue and stuck them back together. Worked perfect.

cheerio.
