Just hold down the 1 and Volume down buttons. You will see 'locking power button's and a progress bar in the middle of the monitor. Keep the buttons held down until the progress bar completes. Voila.

SOURCE: ViewSonic Monitor has trouble to wake up after been shut down?

Ok sounds to me like a power supply problem.. this a a fairly common symptom. I suggest that as a temporary fix you set the monitor to NOT turn the power off to the monitor in sleep mode if possible, in your power settings for the monitor.

SOURCE: ViewSonic Monitor has trouble to wake up after been shut down.?

Well with this type of fault it is invairably a problem with the Power Supply, in the PSU Electrolytic capacitors dry out and often cause this type of exact problem... It is a relitively simple fix, by replacing the caps with new ones... Any good shop should be able to fix for a modest fee.. OR if ya know anyone handy with a soldering iron maybe they could do it for you there are generally about 4 - 6 to replace... in the PS section, just do them all to be safe..

How to solve problem with monitor the power on fails?

Its most likely an issue with your PC... either a startup problem with software or the video card/driver. Try a different monitor on the PC.. if the 2nd monitor works with the PC, then your monitor is defective.

The OSD Menu on the monitor itself is locked. How do I unlock it so I can adjust my settings? It was given to me, I have no printed material for it. Thanks

Turn off monitor, hold down the menu button, turn the monitor back on, release the menu button after 10-20 seconds. Your Iiyama screen will now be unlocked.

Iiyama HM903DT - Stopped switching on - constant orange standby

The way I solved it…

I received from iiyama a quote for repair: 400€ without VAT, 478 € with VAT, with a 3 month warranty.

So I ordered a HP LP2475W H-IPS LCD monotor from HP, for 656 € VAT & delivery incl. And a 3 year ON SITE warranty. It is superb, and after calibration it largely outperforms what I had before for my photographic use.

Hope this will help…

Screen settings wont save

To solve the problem of left-alignment, try setting the output of your computer to 75Hz. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311403 for how to do this.
