When shutting down computer, i press the power button on the monitor to switch it off, but a message " power button locked " appears on the screen

do exactly this:
- power off monitor with the POWER button!
- unplug power cord
- hold -/+ and keep holding them when briefly pressing POWER to get the monitor back on
- press menu
You are now in the service menu. Adjust the settings as you like.
- press EXIT
- power off monitor with button
- power on monitor with button
- AUTO SETUP... will be performed
- re-adjust brightness/contrast
Done!

Ok sounds to me like a power supply problem.. this a a fairly common symptom. I suggest that as a temporary fix you set the monitor to NOT turn the power off to the monitor in sleep mode if possible, in your power settings for the monitor.

Well with this type of fault it is invairably a problem with the Power Supply, in the PSU Electrolytic capacitors dry out and often cause this type of exact problem... It is a relitively simple fix, by replacing the caps with new ones... Any good shop should be able to fix for a modest fee.. OR if ya know anyone handy with a soldering iron maybe they could do it for you there are generally about 4 - 6 to replace... in the PS section, just do them all to be safe..
