Sometime Tv gets stuck on a input or menu. Please HELP!

The tv often gets stuck with the menu on screen with no way of removing it. Sometime the buttons on the front of the tv wont work as well. Can I disable the button and just use my universal remote?

I have the same TV and the buttons on the front do not work, unresponsive. I have to unplug the TV to make the power shut off, the volume will automatically go to the max, and the channels will change automatically from highest to lowest or vice-versa. Sometimes the "mode" button works, but usually by hitting that button, the channels and/or volume goes haywire. I was going to just buy a remote for it and see if that works.

Unfortunatly the problem sounds like a software error which could only be sorted by an engineer, also your buttons on the front are also controlled by software, and cannot be disabled.

Sony Bravia 46 XBR has the input bar stuck at the top of screen.

Unplug the TV for a while and hopefully, that should reset the circuity. If you're using the original remote control, check for the display button and press it.
I would also suggest doing a factory reset if your TV has that feature and if the TV allows you to do it after unplugging it.

Anyone know why my LG tv has the input menu stuck on the screen. it is not the remote and the buttons are not stuck.

Try unplugging the TV from the power source for several seconds. Also, pour new batteries in your remote.

My Sanyo tv stuck in Please Select Language screen. I have unplugged tv, changed batteries in remote. I'm also am stuck. Tv is a year old. No power outages either.

Depending on the unit you have if you have more than one input (mine has four HDMI, Computer, Standard TV, etc) you may need to be on the right channel or input. You should be able to bring up an On Screen Display that will let you make changes, You might want to try the Menu key on the remote to bring this up. If nothing else go to http://sanyo-av.com/support/ and find your TV and look at the manual.

I have a Dynex 32" TV. I have lost the remote. I am using the controls on the TV, Menu, +-Volume, <> input and on/off. I am stuck in the menu and can't get out. Can you help me? Thanks

unplug your TV for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Or just follow the directions on screen on how to use the volume control buttons and that should help.

TCL Blue Screen "No Media"

I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER!!!! I just bought an TCL TV last night and was given the wrong remote. Screen was stuck on "no media" screen BUT I noticed that when I turn the tv on and keep pressing the menu button, the menu screen would pop up for a half second before the no media screen popped up again. So I knew it was able to access it. SO, it took a few try's and with no exact method I turned the tv on, waited til I saw the TCL logo and then simultaneously pressed the menu and channel up button repeatedly. It will open the menu for you and allow you to move between the input channels!!!! It WILL take a few tries to catch it but it worked!!! Your welcome!!!!

I have this menu stuck on my tv. Is there anyway to remove it?

Switch off the TV manually. Remove battery of remote. Switch off power and remove plug. Retry after sometime. Try changing the input device to some other like a DVD player. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

Setup Menu will not display on TV screen

Ok, on the back of the unit, there is a single yellow composite output. There may also be a Red, green,blue.Component. Take 1 RCA cable and plug it into that yellow output, and route it into your TV input, also a yellow composite. Make sure that whatever input you put that into on the tv, that you change the TV input to that to view your player. when and if you get a picture, you should be able to get to the menu through the GOVID remote.

Later once that Path is working, you can upgrade it to the Red,. green, blue, if your TV has the inputs. You did not give a model for the TV or I could tell you what it has.

If you need any more clarification, please reply.

Best Regards,

Charles

Can not get the image back on my astar hdtv when I choose the option

First check Tv menu comes on screen?
Connect DVD Player at any a-v input and confirm picture on tv. This will confirm that tv has no problem except in tuning circuit.

Now check Antenna / cable hooked up in RF input of tv properly.
Perform Auto-Search / Auto-Tuning / Auto-channel on TV menu and tune all available channels.
Still blue screen? means TV Tuner looks bad.
