What email provider are you trying to use? can you log in through the web interface? you may need to adjust your actual account address in thunderbird settings, actually add your full address and not just your username or vice versa.

Reset email password

What email, yahoo, gmail, an isp such as twc or att? In most cases you enter the account, or attempt to, and change it there. If you can't there's usually a "forgot password" link.

If you change password, and use an email client like Thunderbird, you'll need to change the password there too.

Will not send email says parameters or out

Not enough information.. How do you send mail, using a browser or email client? MS Edge, IE, Chrome or Firefox would be a browser. Mozilla Thunderbird or other programs would be a email client.

What is your email address? I don't need username, just the @yahoo, @gmail, or whatever.

"parameters or out" isn't a very good description of the error message..

Mozilla thunderbird asks for i.map configuration. I have lost access to my mail

About IMAP IMAP stands for the Internet Message Access Protocol. It enables a mail client (such as Thunderbird) to access messages stored on a mail server. It is more modern and fully featured than POP (Post Office Protocol), which is the other major protocol for accessing mail messages. Most email providers now support IMAP. To see whether your account uses IMAP or POP, check the Server Settings page in the Account Settings... for more info.

After submiting my email and password i can not get into outlook to read my mail as it will not open up

Sometimes a general mailbox program like Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, for whatever reason, forgets your password. The only solve that I know for this is trying to set a new password so that you force the program to recognize you. The next time you try logging in, assuming you are typing your username correctly -- I have no reason to think you wouldn't be, but I threw it in there, just in case -- when it asks for your password, stop and choose the "new password" or "forgot password" option. You will be asked to enter your username again and then you will be asked to verify some information, after which you will be presented the "new password screen." Choose a password you can remember and write it down. Be sure that it contains some figures and some of the special characters like ! or $ so that you can keep it private. That's my best suggestion to cure this bug.
