Which will be better ,nikon s220 or sony cybershot w180 please rply me

It all depends on what you want it for. If you want better quality photos, go with a larger diameter lens. If you want portability, go for the other features. Anything above 5mpx is not necessary, unless you plan to make poster sized blowups.

MY CAMERA TAKES PHOTOS THAT APPEARS SHARP ON THE LCD BUT BLURRED AND DISFOCUSED AFTER DOWNLOAD.....

Your LCD is only a small preview screen. I have on many occasions tested a camera and viewed on the screen. When you view the image on a computer it is enlarged to a much larger image. If your pictures appear out of focus you may have a bad lens. Set your camera to the highest mega pixel rate and retake some test images. If these are blurred you have a bad lens.

I have a sony DSC-F717, and when i take pictues, the white colors on the image come out pink and other types the picture has like a green shadow over the picture.

Symptoms shows its start-up of CCD Imager problem in DSC-F717 and in few days, CCD Imager will not give picture data to camera circuit. CCD Imager is part which converts image in electronic signal and that signal / data goes to camera circuit for further process.
Sony will repair CCD Imager problem in DSC-F717 free of cost. Check Sony CCD Imager Support for details.

My sony dsc-71 cybershot just developed what appears to be a hazy image or an image with a halo effect. The camera is spproximately 4 years old and worked great until just a few days ago.

Do you mean DSC-P71? This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:
