I just got done fixing an Akai LCT2660 that had four bad capacitors on the power board.Works perfect now.Hope this helps.Thank You very much!

This is an indication that one of the components in the screen control sections has a thermal instability problem. This canusually be found using a product called cool mist which is a component cooling spray. This lowers the compenent temperature and allows you to see which component has the problem. Also you may want to if you are able try to use a voltmenter and a schematic to trace the problem down once you know which component is giving you the problem.
