Question about Toshiba 32AF43 32" TV
TV shuts off after 30 seconds to a couple minutes. Red power light then blinks. Power cord must be unplugged to turn it back on. When TV is turned on, the picture is tinted white, but image is marginally visible. Also, picture has horizontal and nearly horizontal lines (almost banded). Sound is fine. Menu is functional but too blurred to read. Each video mode behaves the same. Other TV picture is fine, so cable appears fine.
Make a fist bang on the back of the tv,see if the tv screen flashes or stay the same.U must have to take the tv aparts and resolders the outter pins of the video board. The video board that the board where it is connect to tv CRT tube. These video boards are mostly made by automation and waves soldering machines.Within a few years the video board must be resolders all the outer pins of the video for tights and goods contact for to it CRT tv tube to works probally.

Not acutally a solution. We are having this EXACT same problem; it started this week. Let us know what you are having done. I've called Toshiba and service reps but they are all quoting a price which is almost half the value of the tv. Have you been able to fix it? We are pretty upset since the 2year warranty recently expired. Obviously, it seems that others are having this problem as well. Email us: [email protected]
