cruise controls are funny things
you have to accelerate to a speed then turn it on and press set
It will cruise at that speed
if you touch the brake it will unset and you will have to press on the accelerator again to the speed and pres resume
if you want to accelerate to pass just press the accelerator until you have passed , then just take your foot off the accelerator and it will coast until the set speed
if you change gears , it will unset
if you touch the brake , it will unset
if you have it set and find the speed to fast , hold the set button and it will slow down to the speed you want
let the button go and it will set at the speed
if you want to go faster than the set speed press the resume button and it will speed up until you get the speed you want

NO WAY,you have to have a remote to set/unset the system.(if you could, so could any tom,****.harry.)so you know, the key has ONE code,(constant)the car has two codes,one rolling and one constant)the remote searches for the rolling code and then disarms it,so that when you put the key in it starts.....then when you lock with the remote it reactivates a different code,simple but effective deterrant for thieves.....and other mitsi owners.

TRY PUTTING NEW BATTERIES IN YOU FOB[REMOTE].IF THAT DOES'NT WORK YOU WILL HAVE TO GET A NEW OR USE YOUR SPARE IF YOU HAVE ONE,IT CAN'T BE OVERRODE.

what happenes when u try to start the car?also try to set and unset your arlarm. while the car is running.turn off the truck after u have turned off the arlarm that should fix that.
