Hey!
I would like to know if you have tried and tested the solution that you have specified about the z-5500 speakers.
Could you please share some photos at my [email protected]
How did you arrive at the 18 volts being transferred?
Appreciate your help with this
Thanks
Michael

Try to click the EFFECT BUTTON a few times to change the effect settings (see also in display) from e.g. Stereo (which uses only two front speakers) to other settings (for which some will use the other (rear/center/sub)speakers as well). Success,

This whole post is completely incorrect. You must go to radio shack, buy 2 female, and 1 male 15 pin D-sub connectors. Than solder 15 wires (the largest guage you can fit) than split those wires in to 2 wires, making a Y connector. Than using an ohms meter to trace wires, tape and number each wire. than on the 30 wire ( 15 split into 2) solder wire 1 onto pin one of both female plugs, continue to do this to all 30 wires. once you get done let a glue gon get really hot and squirt glue into wires soldered onto plugs to help them hold on. The reason this works is because there is 18+ volts being sent and recieved amoung the amp and pod. You must have both systems plugged in, this will still allow the same amount of volts to be sent and recieved. This is time consuming, but it works Great! you will have 1000 watts of sub!! The volume doest get worse, there is no power issues. Im not sure if this is a logitech "tech" or what, but this blog is false. You must make your own Y splitter cable or special order them.
George,
P.S. This isnt hard, do your research, know how it all works, and make sure you know how to solder!! Im 15 years old and figured this out.

Logitech does not sell these seperately.. not in my country anyhow. You should also be aware, that there is several (at least two) revisions of these controllers, so you cant just just use any controller.. Check eBay.. and try to get one that has the same sticker on the back of the stand as yours. EG, mine is R750. Good luck!
