Taylor 8756-33. Which components operate in standby mode?

In standby mode, the machine just wants to keep the product refrigerated until it goes back into auto.

So, the mix cabinet needs to keep the product cool in the bottom of the machine, that requires the mix compressor and fans to run. The mix cabinet temperature is read by a thermistor probe and regulated by the (left side) logic board.

The product in the cylinders should go back to liquid form in standby, but we still have to maintain that safe food temperature, the motor and compressor will run periodically. If the machine is air-cooled a fan will run anytime the compressors run. If it is water cooled, water will flow through the machine when the compressor runs. The temperature in the freezing cylinders is read by a different thermistor probe and regulated by the logic boards.

Here is a link to all of the parts in a Taylor 8756.

Hello I have a 8754 Taylor and having trouble with the (chocolate)left side of the machine. The product goes soft after I've served about fifty cones. this is what I've tried *installed all new o rings...

sounds like a freon like to me if the compressor is running for long periods and not freezing properly or you have a water pressure issue. if it is water cooled which alot are it is hard to realize you have a freon leak.

Whirlpool 6th sense 7.5kg washing machine. My machine has lost all signs of power. Ive checked the power points, cleared the lint catchment and taken the top panel off but no signs of cables burnt or...

you need to check if power is going all the way to the board. The only way to do this is to trace the power cable to the board. When you have located now comes the tricky part. You will need a current tester. You will need to put the probes of the tester into the power cable (one on each side) and switch the power on to the machine. I would only recommend doing this if you are very competent in electrics. If you do this and find a full 230 going to this plug then it means you're board is dead and its new machine time if you are not covered by your parts guarantee. If there is no power going to the plug then you need to recheck back down the line

How do I turn on my Pro form 760 ekg .

Dear Sir.
Please turn on the power switch that goes down in the machine is Red switch, most of time there some light of Neon that illuminated when you push to ON. Otherwise reset the button to the side to the power button.

If everything is o.k go inside of the machine and see if the breaker of fuse is tripped or blow, or corrored ( clean but disconnect the power cord): and try again. If not work. You must see if you have power from the outlet wall in your house and reset your breaker.

sincerely. God bless you.

Ice maker is crushing ice when cube ice button is on

We've had a similar problem, possibly the same, with our LG in-door ice maker. Whether cubed ice or crushed ice is selected, it crushes the ice.

We found that there is a little lever on the inside of the door, on the lower right behind the ice bin, which freezes in the down position. This is a literal "freeze up", as a block of ice forms in the little well under this switch and eventually freezes the switch in place. Since the switch needs to go up to provide cubed,.. we only get crushed. On 3 separate occassions we've thawed and chipped out (carefully) this little ice dam and gotten cubed ice capability back for a few weeks. At which point it freezes again. I have no idea why water collects there in the first place.

Hoshizaki Ice Machine Model KM-500MAF

(Quated From Hoshizaki Technical Bulletin)
An alarm code of 3 beeps
every 3 seconds means that the control board has shut
down on the 60 minute freeze cycle back up timer.

The “E” control board has a 60 minute timer that starts at
the beginning of the freeze cycle. If the float switch fails
to open and start the next harvest within 60 minutes, the
board will automatically start the harvest cycle. If this
occurs in two consecutive cycles, the control board will
shut the unit down on the manual reset, freeze cycle
back- up timer. The yellow fault LED marked “60 min.”
will illuminate. This safety is designed to help prevent a
freeze up of the evaporator.

Once you have identified the 60 minute alarm, there are
several things to check. Reset the alarm by depressing
the white reset button to the right of the fault LED’s.
This must be done with the power “ON”. Now check the
float switch to see if it is stuck in the up position. A stuck
float can occur if scale is present on the reed switch
shaft inside the housing. To check it, drain the water
reservoir, unplug the black float switch connector (K5)
from the control board and check it with an ohm meter
for a closed switch (zero ohms). If the float switch is
sticking, clean it with ice machine cleaner or replace it as
necessary.
An inlet water valve which is slowly leaking by during the
freeze cycle can cause a 60 minute alarm. If the inlet
water valve is stuck wide open, it is unlikely that any ice
will form on the evaporator. Check for a slow leak by
allowing the unit to cycle into the freeze cycle and
disconnecting the hose at the outlet of the water valve. If
water leaks by during the freeze cycle, the water valve
diaphragm is likely damaged or the small diaphragm bleed
port is clogged with scale. Clean the bleed port or replace
the diaphragm or entire water valve as necessary.

(I Recommend to get a refrigeration tech for this part).

Another possibility is a refrigeration system problem. You
should use normal refrigeration diagnosis procedures to
check for one of these problems. If the thermostatic
expansion valve is not feeding properly or the refrigerant
charge is low, the evaporator will not form ice as it should
and a long freeze cycle will occur. This could also be the
result of the hot gas valve not closing completely during
the freeze cycle or if the compressor valves are weak or
inefficient. An inefficient compressor however, will
usually show up first on the KM model through a longer
than normal harvest cycle. This is because of cooler
than normal discharge gas. Use proper refrigeration
practices to repair a refrigeration system problem.
While these are not the only reasons for a 60 minute
freeze cycle, they are the most common and should be
checked to resolve a 3 beep/yellow fault LED alarm.
