My Jabra BT 350 accidentally went through the washer. It worked at first, then didn't. Now, when charging, it blinks red and green alternating. Is it dead for good? Or is it possible to save

SOURCE: Jabra BT 350 has stopped connecting

Hey everyone! I had the same problem, and I actually got it to work again! I hope these directions will help you get yours to work (from the manual):
1. Put the headset in pairing mode
• Make sure the headset is off.
• Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on. <== THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! HOLD THE BUTTON UNTIL YOU SEE A SOLID NON-BLINKING LIGHT! (This is where I was going wrong with the directions.)
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT350
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT350
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).

Good luck!

SOURCE: new jabra 350 can't be charged

right out of the box i had the light flicker on me too. if you don't have warranty or receipt like i did try this. i'm not responsible if it doesn't work after!

peel off the blue part of plastic that has jabra on it. take a screwdriver and unscrew the star screws. take the cover off. using some wires, briefly connect a battery (i used a wireless drill battery) to the leads of the bluetooth battery. you'll see a spark.

now my thing is charging for the first time

SOURCE: jabra red light of death

seeing the red light tells you that the jabra isn't fried or shorted and that there is life but there is a problem, the red light isn't blue when it should be. so have you read the directions your ear piece came with when you first bought it?... hold the on button until you see the blue light stays on.(blue light will flash fast then slow then come to a complete stop and stay on) once blue light stays on that should mean you can now find the ear piece on your cell phone to link up. if problem still isn't fixed then you might as well buy a new one.

Jabra SP700 will not turn on. Charged until green light came on. Took off charger, and put it back in. Light turned red. Eventually went green again. Will not turn on. Back to red when I plugged in...

You've probably accidentally put it in locking mode. Here's what the manual says about it, and how to get out of it:

Locking mode

To prevent accidental key presses that could turn your speakerphone

on e.g. while carrying it in a bag, the speakerphone can be

turned into locking mode. Press simultaneously the Answer/End

button and FM button for 4 seconds while the speakerphone is

turned on. The speakerphone is now turned off and can only be

turned on again by pressing Answer/End button and FM button
simultaneously for 2 seconds.

My jabra BT160 won't charge

i had the same problem with mine. the problem is with the completely empty battery.
solution is to disassemble it and force charge the battery inside.
you have to cut any usb cable leaving the side which connects to pc and remove the insolation from red and black wires. connect them for few seconds to battery soldering points on jabra board (red to red, black to black, sometimes you have to scratch the solder a bit if it oxidized a bit). once you see the light you can start charging it normally.
