Avic n1 will not read navigation disc ( yellow ) is reading please insert appropriate disc

You need to get an up to date navi disc. There is a procedure to down grade it, so it would read the yellow disc. But it will mess up the unit if you do it wrong. Beside half of the current info won't be on the yellow disc anyway, because it is so out dated. Goodluck.
