Error E0 results from the copier being turned off and on immediately after an error. Most likely there is another underlying error on your copier that needs to be resolved, but in some cases leaving the copier powered off for a couple hours can resolve the problem automatically. If you see another error code (most likely E000, E001, E002, or E003), your copier may need repairs.

ont. Panel, press the following, one after the other, * (additional functions), 2, 8, * (additional functions). You are now in Service Mode. Touch the Function Tab, touch the Clear button, touch the ERR button, when it is highlighted, press the OK button at the botton of screen. Power Cylce unit. If it comes back up, may have been a fluke. However, if it comes back, check your Fixing Assy for jammed paper, or damage to the Fixing Film (Upper Roller). Replacing the Film is not hard. After you remove the Fixing Assy., its a couple cables and springs. Rather on the easy side for Film replacements. Remebmer, on these models, the Film is also the Heater and Upper Fixing Roller. The Film is most likely on the pricey side for new, believe you can find rebuilds. Just keep in mind that the Film is still a lil' bit cheaper then the whole assy., and 8 out 10 times, its the Film that fails in the asssy

SOURCE: copier 212 error code U4
That is a fuser code. May be a bad heat rod or just need reset.
Here is how to reset it.
Enter diagnostics, Here is the procedure.
To enter diagnostics:
Hold down ‘0’ while turning on the Power the console will light up. Press ‘Stop/Clear’, the lights will shut off & --- will appear in the display Wait 30 seconds for the optics to complete a self-test before you enter any diagnostic test codes. Never turn off the power before the optics stop moving (or you’ll get a U2 code & possibly some unpleasant noises from the Scan Drive Motor).
Next setp is to use the code to clear the U$ code.
*To clear a fuser code:(401)
Enter diagnostics, wait 30 seconds for the optics to initialize, enter ‘401’ followed by ‘Print’, then shut down the power & wait 10 seconds before switching power back on.
That will normally clear that problem. Often times when a machine has set for a long time they wont warm up right and pop that code.
Another thing, if you can get the machine to warm up and come ot ready then it pops up a U4. Open that right side door. You will see this silver, looks like a small saw blade. It should be silver, but it will have a lot of ink built up on it, take a soft brush and clean it with that.
Let me know, if hte code 401 doesnt clear it, then the heat rod would have to be replaced. If that happens please let me know and we will procede from there.

C1-3000 Registration Sensor On JAM RAP (Tray 1 Feed)
After the Tray 1 Feed Clutch turned On, the Registration Sensor did not turn On within the
specified time.
Initial Actions
Refer to BSD 8.1/8.6.
Power OFF/ON
Procedure
Check the Transport Roll for wear and paper powder. The Transport Roll is ok.
Y N
Replace the Transport Roll.
Check for foreign substances, distortion and paper powder in the paper transport path. No
foreign substances, distortion or paper powder are found in the paper transport path.
Y N
Clear away the foreign substances and paper powder. Correct the distortion.
Execute Input/Output Check[8-5 Registration Sensor]. Manually activate the actuator of the
Registration Sensor (PL 2.4). The display changes.
Y N
Check the connection of P/J104. P/J104 is connected correctly.
Y N
Connect P/J104.
Check the wire between J104 and J403 for an open circuit or a short circuit (BSD 8.6 Flag
1/Flag 2). The wire between J104 and J403 is conducting without an open circuit or
a short circuit.
Y N
Repair the open circuit or short circuit.
Measure the voltage between the MCU PWB P403-B15 (+) and the GND (-) (BSD 8.6
Flag 2). The voltage is approx. +5VDC.
Y N
Replace the MCU PWB (PL 9.1).
Measure the voltage between the MCU PWB P403-B14 (+) and the GND (-) (BSD 8.6
Flag 1). Place paper in front of the Registration Sensor. The voltage changes.
Y N
Replace the Registration Sensor (PL 2.4).
Replace the MCU PWB (PL 9.1).
Execute Input/Output Check[8-12 Tray 1 Feed Clutch ON]. The Tray 1 Feed Clutch (PL 2.3)
can be heard.
Y N
Check the connections of P/J217 and P/J415. P/J217 and P/J415 are connected
correctly.
Y N
Connect P/J217 and P/J415.
Measure the resistance of the Tray 1 Feed Clutch (PL 2.3) (BSD 8.1 Flag 2). (Between
P217-1 and P217-4). The resistance is approx. 186Ohm.
Y N
Replace the Tray 1 Feed Clutch (PL 2.3).
Check the wire between J217 and J415 for an open circuit or a short circuit (BSD 8.1 Flag
2). The wire between J217 and J415 is conducting without an open circuit or a short
circuit.
Y N
Repair the open circuit or short circuit.
Replace the MCU PWB (PL 9.1).
Replace the MCU PWB (PL 9.1).

When I turn the copier on it looks fine and when I push the start button it acts like it is going to copy and starts to feed the paper and then it give the E0 error code and shuts off.
None of the suggestions below helped I don't have any of those buttons.
