Re:
For all Projection Televisions:
I replaced the screen on my 62 inch projection TV for about $50 and the the picture quality is good! Have a sheet of plexiglass cut to the EXACT size needed. BEFORE installation it MUST be frosted on both sides by either a fine particle sandblaster or by sanding it VERTICALLY on BOTH sides with a power sander and a fine grade paper. If this is only an OUTER protective screen and the image is projected on the inner screen then DO NOT frost the replacement screen, just install it.
On my RCA P46770CK, all you do is lift upwards on the screen and the bottom can slide forward releasing the whole screen. Look for something like that if no catch screws visible.

Re:
The fresnel screen itself would cost about $300 if that is damaged. If it is an additional screen covering it, then I would expect it to cost about half that price. I'm not sure however if it can be easily removed. Sometimes it's a friction fit, other times it can be a real chore. You may want to contact a local repair shop to do it.

Your part# for the lenticular screen is TKG2AH50641. Panasonic has them new for $358.65 plus shipping. Or you might be able to find one cheaper if you google it or find someone that has the same model TV that doesn't work anymore.
It is broken,The outside is a Polorised film.Like window tint,It is repairable,New LCD screen. But may be cheeper to buy a new TV. GET A EXT.WARENTY!!! will not cover accidents but the new tv's do break alot, and are expensive to repair.
Buy a name brand, NOT RCA "junk" Just a name
no longer a company. Samsung,Panasonic,Sony. If you want to support the USA buy another Sharp. Still a great TV. And made in America. NOTE they make after market screen protectors. GOT KIDS? GET ONE. :) Or even a piece of plexie glass if cash is tight. Hope this helps.
Look for a used Panasonic PT-47WX42F One in Local ads, Or place a wanted ad for your model. ~ Or if you want A new one, Get ahold of a TV Shop And OR Panasonic and be ready to spend lots of $$$$ ~ And yes there easy to replace!, Make sure you have a large clean area to work in, And a helper. Becarful and replace them back in as they came out! ( Top Bottom) they should be marked with a small tag or mark.... Geo*
