Question about Whirlpool 24 in. GU1200XT Built-in Dishwasher
My whirpool GU1200XT is having problems! I started the normal cycle and went to work. When I returned the washer was full of water and I don't think I have any power to the unit, but do have power at the plug! Any suggestions???
Your problem is the timer can be stuck.
cleant the contact for corroded, tight the wires for burn, loose, or broke.
finaly can be defective.
2) Heating elements and thermostast defective, test see how test.

SOURCE: Whirpool dishwasher does not go into wash cycle
you will need to replace the control bd. if it is not washing. I think that it is probably just filling and not starting the washing process and this would be a bad sump/mtr. assy.

Likely, the water inlet valve might have some sediment jamming the valve action. If there is none left on the deck of the washer, then any entering past the intake valve is likely being washed out to the drain. If you have no water fill when starting, check the inlet valve. If the material has embedded itself in the valve seat/plunger, you may have to replace the valve.
