My T610 is working quite well for the last 17 months that I have had it. It does lack the following feature though: If you switch it off in the middle of playing a long audio track ( say at 30:00 min in 60:00 min track) and when you switch it on back again, it starts at 0:00 min. So to get back to the point where you left off (30:00 min) you have to fast forward which can be irritating at times. Many other mp3 players can resume the track at the point where it was switched off.
I was just wondering if there is some kind of software patch up or plugin that I can download and add this feature to my mp3 player ? Any help would be appreciated.

Plug the device into the computer open the device port that it's pluged into and delete everything that you downloaded onto it and then retry to download the supported format that the device supports.

Hi buddy!!!! let me assure you that your problem is very simple and infact, not a problem at all. you must have had ( unknowingly, ofcourse) slid the mp3 lock slide button which is present on one of the sides of ur mp3 player.just slide the switch to unlock mode and ur problem is fixed!!!!!!!.
here is the cherry on the pie : eventhough you have formatted ur mp3 player , you will find (when you follow the steps as mentioned above ) all the songs in your mp3 player to be intact.that is one of the userfriendly features of the slide button.
p.s : please drop a comment and let me know if that worked.
