Question about Toshiba 13A26 13" TV
CHANGE 18K RESISTOR 1 WATT, LOCATED KINESCOPE MODULE.IT IS LIKELY OPEN. IT IS A B+ RESISTOR THAT SUPPLIES VOLTAGE TO GREEN VIDEO OUTPUT TRANSISTOR COLLECTOR.

To clarify the repair the video board sets upright verticile that plugs onto the (main board) horizontal with locking tabs just lift up off clean pins with emery board spray socket with abrasive cleaner called (blue stuff )
I also checked for bad solder connections on the crt board and resoldered some connections on main board where the pins go in to the upright video board I hope this clarification is more complete

If you can still see the video and some fine white lines running diagnally across the screen, it is very likely the picture tube itself which would likely be covered under warranty. If it is a solid green screen with no video, it could be a defective driver transistor or IC going to the picture tube.

Usually answered in minutes!
TV turned on and was running fine for about 15 minutes when it suddenly turned to a green screen. Picture is still slightly visable through the green. Have tried adjusting the color, brightness, etc with no results. Is there anything I can do short of taking it to a technician to fix it?
