Compaq Presario 700 PC Notebook keyboard will not work afrer i close the top or running on battery and goes into stanby mode. then the barrtier has to be taken out whats the problem and how is it fixed one mor thig windoes media player keeps popping up even though it has been removed from the programs thanks
Check that your notebook power settings are correct, it may be that when you press off or shutdown it's actually going into hibernation or standby, this is only correct when you close the lid without shutting down through Windows. As for Windows Media Player, you cannot remove it as it's a Windows component, you can only dissable it through Add/Remove programmes>Add/Remove Windows Components.
