I got this tv from a buddy and what happens is that when the tv is on it has this blue like maybe green water like screen at the bottom and if we watch the tv long enough it will go towards the middle of the screen straight up.....
can anybody help me
its a great tv for playstation...but would like to watch tv too

The board that called the T-Con board it is could be dead.This T-Con board control the out put tv signal to the tv LCD screen panel.This T-Con board sit at the bottom in the middle bottom of the tv LCD screen panel. Take the connection out of the T-Con board .Tries clean the connection of the board with some rubbing alcohol,might fixed the problems,if not.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,EBay.com to buy a refurbish T-Con board for the replacement.
You will need to replace your two convergence I.C.s.They are two large
IC mounted on a large aluminum heat sink.Replace both,look for any
burned resistors near them,replace those if needed,and readjust your
convergence. Good Luck
you need to replace your 2-convergence ic's #STK392-110 you need to replace both ,,they are attached to 2 big heat sinks and identified as q-751 & q-752 you can get the ic's you need plus free tec support and installation instructions including pictures at the link I gave you. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
its very possible that the blue CRT is horting the set out. Heres how you can test it. Remove the speaker grille and access panel behind the grille and you will see the crts. remove the blue crt circuit board from the end of the blue crt and make sure it isnt touching anything then try powering up the set if it doesnt shut down then you have found the problem and you will need a new crt. or you can switch the blue circuit with the green and try it iwth the blue on green and the green on the blue then if the screen turns green before shutting down you will know that its a problem in the blue drive circuit and not the crt. lety me know if you need further assistance.
