Question about Gateway M1200-3004265 Tablet PC

Need touchscreen drivers for Gateway M1200. Hi there I recently bougth a Gateway M 1200 Tablet PC. Unfortunatly I did not get any operating system or drivers and has not been able to use my touchscreen. Does anyone know what I have to do to get it working?

    My touch screen for my motion m1200 isn't working. I just put and windows xp on it and downloaded all the drivers on the web.

    Model:RCT6077W2 The tablet fell and the screen cracked the tablet still works but the touchscreen does not.

I just bought one of these used, It had a fresh intall of windows XP tablet. When I got it the touch screen would not work. I have tried dowloading the drivers. I download Motion dashboard for this model. When I open it is says" Dashboard can not be run on this computer" I dont know what to do??

First be sure that you are running windows XP tablet edition, then download the drivers from motion computing. This is the link:

http://www.motioncomputing.com/support/driver_download_1200.asp

If you are running windows XP regular not Tablet PC edition it is not going to work, toush pad and buttons only work on tablet edition.

Hi ,
if you have the operating system the computer came with , you need to put it in your cdrom or dvd player and open the disk to see all the files and folders , ther is where you should find a driver folder , open that up and look for your touchscreen driver and reload the driver , if this doesnt work let me know so i can advise further ..............................Goodluck Roy

if your installing windows 7 it will have all the touch screen drivers and such already built in, just a matter of enabling then in your control panel

Gateway M1300 tablet pc will not charge in the
Question 1: Will the tablet operate on the docking station (or power cord) without the battery in place?

If not, the power circuit on the tablet motherboard is broken.

Question 2: If you plug in the power cord into the tablet, is the connection "loose"?
Check the other tablet to see if it is the same loosness at the tablet power connector.

If it is loose, the power receptical in the tablet can be soldered back onto the motherboard.

Recommend taking it into a shop to re-solder.
If under warranty, get it repaired.
If not under warranty, your choice if you want to use it they way it is.

Operating System Not Found

Almost always, your described problem indicates a hard disk problem: either it is no longer recognized (most likely) or the partition / files are corrupted.

From the WACOM site you'll need the Tablet PC driver.
-Go to www.Wacom.com
-Select your location and language on the right
-On the next page, choose downloads from the top navigation bar
-In Step 1 scroll down and pick Tablet PC
-In Step 2 choose your operating system
-Follow the download instructions provided on the site from there

Where can i download sofware of gateway
For your tablet to function again, you'll need the WACOM tablet driver which is NOT provided by Gateway, since they do not manufacture the tablet themselves.

You'll need the following drivers from the GATEWAY site to fix your button issue:

9524572.exe - Gateway M275 Button driver, version 5.01.2600.2156
and from the WACOM site you'll need the Tablet PC driver.
-Go to www.Wacom.com
-Select your location and language on the right
-On the next page, choose downloads from the top navigation bar
-In Step 1 scroll down and pick Tablet PC
-In Step 2 choose your operating system
-Follow the download instructions provided on the site from there

You can replace any motherboard, so long as your processor and memory are compatable and it fits into your case.

I need a system restore disk for my Gateway M275 notebook When it tries to load the operating system I get the following message, "Intel (R) boot agent version 4.1.08,Copyright (C) 1997-2002, Intel Corporation, PXE-E61: Media test failure, PXE-M0F: exiting intel boot agent. Adisk read error occurred press ctrl+alt+del top restart" Then it does the same thing again.
