Connected by VGA cable to an LED multimedia projector. Selected input VGA on projector. Selected 2th screen on laptop and adjusted resolution as appropriate and still No Sync comes on screen. Other inputs works great like TV, AV, s-video. restarted pc few times but nothing changes. any advise? Cable works as i connected my desktop monitor and Plasma tv and had images there only not getting on projector. Where is the problem?

Not sure about your model as the header is Dell D600 and you mention Acer but the solution is probably the same. You need to enable the 2nd display - I'm assuming you are running XP. Go to display settings -easiest way is to Right click on the desktop, bringing the display menu and Left click on Properties (bottom entry). Then click on Settings and you should see 2 screens and you will need to enable the 2nd monitor and set up how to display on it. Additionally there is a setting in the BIOS that enables both display outputs.

is the cable longer than 3-6 feet (depending on voltage from port)?
Cable is short 0,5 metre
The same thing happens when i try to connect my desktop PC no image on projector but on TV works. Maybe i should try to get better quality VGA cable?
The other thing is when i select projector input VGA, next time i press mode button it shows other input selected. I select again VGA and No Sync comes on the screen. Maybe problem is in projector?
Yes i did that, on my laptop it's on F1, but still does not work.
