Anyone run across this problem before? When performing a Hotsync with my PC Hotsync manager shuts down about half way through the process, I get no error messages from Hotsync manager when this happens everything just stops. I have checked the conduit settings and connection settings, everything is fine there, I can start to sync but it stops again, usually after it finishes with MS Outlook, leaving everything hanging for Documents to Go. I tried to should down everything except the basic settings in Hotsync manager, but the problem still occurs. This has become very annoying now as the spreadsheets that I used daily cannot be syncronized, I can transfer the files onto an SD card from my PC and then insert the card into the Palm, I can read the files but because the files are not syncronized Documents to Go locks the Excel spreadsheets meking them usless. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks for your time

SOURCE: HotSync Outlook 2003 with Tungsten E
I tried all the suggestions that were offered and gave up. But then out of pure craziness I loaded the treo 600 CD that came with my Treo 600 out of curiosity. It loaded and the MS Office 2003 conduits loaded nicely and the problem appears to be solved for now. So I tested and it the Tungsten E Hotsync's feature all appear to be okay. I'm not sure if this is the best solution but it solved a very frustrating problem. The version of Hotsync that loaded is 4.1.0. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do I HotSync a Palm Vx with Outlook 2002
I wish I had found you two weeks ago! That help, though simple, was fantastic - thank you. I had no idea that Pocket Mirror was on the CDROM as it was set on autostart so it launched into the Palm Software installation straight-off. I've got a few problems to sort out with it but so far it has Sync'ed the: Addresses To Do Email not yet read Calendar ** It insists on spending a very long time thinking about 'backing-up' the handheld databases and I have to force it to close. Any ideas how to solve that little problem? I'm just about to leave for Paris so I can't pursue this anymore today, so if I may I'll follow-up at the end of the week. Meanwhile thank you for your quick response and excellent instructions. Regards

SOURCE: Zire 72 Won't Sync Notes
I feel your pain as I'm having even more problems than you, see my post. However, having learned quite a bit about this topic, I suggest ensuring the Hot Sync is set for the desktop to overwrite the PDA as opposed to PDA overwriting the desktop, which sounds like what's happening. That's the only suggestion I have. Hope it works out for you.

If u need to make connectivity between computer and Palm mobie then u need to install hot sync software on ur Pc and activate hotsync option from ur mobile then with cable u can transfer the data . if u not have proper software of hotsync then download it from palm Site.
