You can contact the manufacturer to see if they have any troubleshooting tips but it sounds like the dvr is shot. Sometimes the manufacturer will take them back and repair them, if there's been a recall on that particular model they will repair or replace for free!
Hold the power button (in) while (pushing) the volume button up and down repetitively as fast as you can. In the meantime plug in your phone. Even if it does not indicate your phone is charging, the phone is charging. Also, this phone can only tolerate so many apps.

If pressing down helps, you can fasten it on with a elasitc band or something so that it keeps charging. Also, if it is still under warranty, I woul advise contacting Logitech's wonderful support team to get replaced. Also, I would suggest a firmware update. Hope that helps!
Let me see if I understand how this works. If I have a problem that I can't fix you charge me $12.99 to $19.99 and then you will try to fix solve my problem -- if you can't there is no charge other than my waste of time dealing with you.. However if I already solved the problem then you want me to tell you for FREE how I solved the problem!
Tell you what I will do -- you send me a check for $12.99 and I will tell you how I solved fixed my Harmony One.
I am betting that I won't hear from you again. How do you sleep at night.
