LCD Display shows horizontal gray lines when opened at 90 degrees
Only have LCD display (clear picture) when opened about 35-40 degrees. When I begin to open it above about 40 degress, the LCD display shuts off and shows horizontal grey lines. Turns back on (clear picture is displyed) at same location 35-40 degrees towards camera. If someone can give me a clue to resolve the problem, Thanks

90% chance LCD problem...eventually those lines fill up the screen. Soln: Change the LCD.
10% chance of moisture problem. Dry it out by- 1.take the battery off 2. put it in a bowl of uncooked rice. 3. make sure the phone is covered by it, and let it stay for 5-10 hours.
Rice should absorb the moisture and could solve the problem. If it doesn't soln:1 is the only way out.
If the pictures also show up that way on your PC, then you the camera has a hardware problem in its sensor and must be sent in to be serviced.
If the problem only shows up on the camera's LCD, then that's the only issue, and can be solved by sending it in, or just accepting it as a minor issue.
I had the same problem. more than likely your connector cable between
the camera and the display has become brittle over time and is beginning to
break. as you open the screen the small wires inside the cable are separating. mine went from 30 deg view to 90 deg no display as yours is now, then 30 deg fuzzy display (cant make out the picture like a VHS when it needs heads cleaned) then the cable gave in and snapped. all the way through. Simply not a lasting camera. I got quotes and it was about $200 to fix. for that price these days u will pick up a better camera anyway. Good luck
The Ctrl-alt direction key sequence is supposed to be used for changing your workspace. On my computer at work it changes the screen orientation
Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees
(If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)
LCD driver IC or display IC is beginning to malfunction, it COULD be a diode, resistor, capacitor or the IC itself. It will require professional service to diagnose this issue.
