Changed setting and don't know the sign any longer

Hi, I tried to change settings in my camera and now there is a sign in the upper left hand corner of the display I don't understand: it is a read square with a P inside... what does this mean for my pictures and my recordings?

Also I am trying to change the setting that I record motion pictures with the highest quality, how do I do this?

Hi there
the square with the p in it is telling you the camera is in auto focus mode (it is selected by the mode ring on the top of the camera)
there is a switch on the left side of the lens body which should be set to AF
the camera is now in point and shoot mode which is the best setting unless you know what you are doing with all the manual settings.
to select movie mode turn the mode dial to the movie clip icon
press the menu button and use the directional arrows to select the 30 fps option
this is the highest setting
it will give you about 30 mins recording time with a 1 gig card.

hope this helps

On my gmail account the language setting is on a setting that i dont understand, and i'm trying to change it back to english but i dont know where the language setting is. I need to know where i can...

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

If your Gmail interface is in the wrong language, take these steps to fix the problem:
  1. Sign in to Gmail.
  2. Click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Gmail settings next to your username at the top of any Gmail page.
  3. Click on the language drop down menu, the top entry on the first tab.
  4. Select your language.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click the right-hand button to save your changes. If your language has been set to a right-to-left language like Hebrew or Arabic you'll need to click the left-hand button.
  6. In the window that pops up, click the right-hand button to apply this language choice to all of your Google products. Clicking the other button will apply this change to Gmail only. In Hebrew or Arabic, you'll need to click the left-hand button to apply to all.
Hope this helps!

How to set the wr330 watch lost instructions.

On the face of the watch, there are four buttons arranged around the circle of the watch face in four positions. Starting with the upper left hand button (labelled SET), and working clockwise around the face of the watch (to ADJ., EL, and MODE), I'll label the buttons "A", "B", "C", and "D".

In other words...
Button "A" is the button labelled "SET" in the upper left hand corner of the watch.
Button "B" is the button labelled "ADJ." in the upper right hand corner of the watch.
Button "C" is the button labelled EL in the lower right hand corner of the watch.
Button "D" is the button labelled "MODE" in the lower left hand corner of the watch.

Setting the Time.
1. Press and hold D as if you were setting the alarm. As above, the stopwatch will momentarily appear and then after 2 seconds the alarm time will appear with the hour flashing.
2. Press and release D and the seconds on the time of day will begin to flash.
3. Press and release B to reset the seconds to zero provided they are below 30. If they are above 30, the seconds will reset and the minutes of the time of day will advance by one.
4. Press and release A to change from flashing seconds to flashing minutes/flashing hours/flashing day of the month/flashing month of the year/flashing day of the week. In each flashing mode, pressing and releasing B advances the value by one unit.
5. Press and release D to exit time setting mode.

My daughter can't take pictures outside as the flash goes off and it just gives a white picture as it's too bright, what can I do?

1. You could try pressing the reset button. 2. You could press the "delete" button to change the flash mode when you first turn the camera on. 3.=Please check your flash setting to make sure that you don’t have the camera on forced flash mode (indicated by the lightning bolt with the plus sign in the upper right corner).
Using this setting in strong lighting conditions would result in a picture with too much
light.

4. If all else fails, you can call 1-800-521-2010

When i turn on my digital camera, in the upper left hand corner, there is a red, flash symbol which i don't know how to turn off??? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

You should be able to turn off your flash, or change the flash to a different flash setting by using one of the buttons on somewhere on your camera. The proper button is identified by the flash symbol, that looks the same as the one on your LCD screen, a jagged, down ward facing arrow, that looks something like a bolt of lightning. Simply press this, it will ether change the setting on your LCD, or bring up the settings that you can change manually by selecting whatever setting you want for the flash. If you don't want to change any of the settings, but want to clear the symbol off of your LCD screen simply hit the Display button that will hide those icons from your view and can be seen again simply by hitting display once more. I hope this is of some help to you, if not, consult your user guide or manual that came with the camera, it should explain exactly what to do. I hope that you have success, God bless...

Long delay on oly evolt 510 before taking picture in P,A,M modes

I'm guessing you have a delay set (people will use this on a tripod). The small button on the top left (next to the flash control) will solve your problem I think.

Saeco Primea Ring - no milk - just steam

Hello!!
Okay! Looks like many of you out there has the same problem, whit the milk temerature (not me i never had).
But there is a service menu on primea touch plus series.
Im from Sweden but i will try my best to explain how to enter the menu. First of all !!MUST!! write down off parameters before changing any thing!!!! It is possible to set the grinder to grin more coffie for each cup. I think the factory setting is 85 Aroma impulse. It is possible to change that for you type of coffie beans that you use, i will diff from bean to bean.

Okay, to enter the menus you have to turn you machines off.
Now turn it on !!!!!EXACTLY!!!!! when the display lights up press your display in the following order ALWAYS IN THE CORNERS (you will not see any icons were you have to touch on you display) RIGHT LOWER CORNER, LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER.

To enter the second service menu, do as i explained before but use this "CODE" instead. LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER, RIGHT LOWER CORNER. This is it! Hope i could help you! Remeber to write down before doing any changes! DO NOT ERASE ANY FAULT CODES YOU SERVICE CENTER WILL FIND THAT INFORMATION VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Dont say that it didnt work, it will it´s a huge matter of timing!!!! IT WILL WORK!!!!

Let me know some results please!!

Meaning of Green square icon on upper left corner

I have the same camera. The green square icon appears while the camera is saving the picture. From your description, I think you were using "Shot Confirmation", and this setting was cleared during the repairs. Have you tried going into the Setup mode (on the dial) and reselecting Shot Confirmation? (p. 143 in the manual)
