Question about Sony CDX-M8815X CD/Receiver/MP3 System
Ok so when i turn my stereo on and want to close it after i put in a cd and i hit the close button the volume goes down what is wrong with my car
Hi, can't find man for m8815x, but got for m8805x. First I'll gamble that your close button is within 3/4 of an inch of the voldn, it's possible that when you press the close button you're also making the voldn button. could be due to impact Check that the close and voldn buttons 'feel' right. If the unit is very new, it could be a manufacturing fault. Bit of cruft inside, or a bad silkscreen on buttons, causing a bridge in the button matrix. Try rolling your finger left-right or up-down over the close button to see if it doesn't do the voldn every time.
