Humminbird matrix 67 - screen dark but can hear sounds

No, typically with led matrix screens, it is near impossible to find someone to replace screen for cheaper than new unit. Same goes for tvs and computers, etc. Also, and not to be rude but rather if you are faced with buying another unit, do not buy Hummingbird. They are a very cheap quality for not much less money. Best bet will be either Furuno or Garmin. Good luck!

intermittents are a real pita.
off hand I would guess a hardware memory problem.

Unplug the tv, take the back off and look for a blowed fuse, replace it with the same amps....hope this helps...

Go into the menu (press menu twice) and look for the alarms tab. There is a setting you can change for a low battery warning, make sure it is set to off or as low as you can get it. Also it may be time for a software upgrade (available at a service center)

Disconnect cable from back of unit clean the pin connections on the unit and on the cable. If rusty clean with Corrosion X are WD

Hummingbird will refurbish that one for around 150US dollars, better then 500+ for a new one. If the screen is subjected to direct sunlight and heats up it can go out. This is why they discontinued the 67 model and replaced it with the 767.
