YOu can reset bios password with 2 method. (1) open back cover of
laptop then find motherbord .Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 15
minutes then again put it in it's position .then it not ask for
password. (2)You can clear password with jumper settings find jumper on motherbord named clear cmos it has 3 pin .1-2-3 Put jumper in 2-3 position then again put it in 1-2 position then check . Let me know if you need more assistance. Thanks.
Open cpu cabinet of your computer. Then you can see your motherbord there. Read carefully on motherbord there is model number and other information for your motherbord. Note down chipset number and other info. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks.
Usually system stops at the startup screen or the startup logo, when it finds some fault in detecting the IDE drives(ie,your harddisk or cd drive), if you dint get any get stuck in the logo, you have to see what happens at the background by clicking on f1 key or f12 or TAB or some key to show the activity rather than logo.....
After seeing the error we can conclude or decide about the problem, but when you were not able to see the screen after pressing any key as specified in your manual, Or it hangs after the LOGO screen, this must be problem with your harddrive, try changing the harddish or try connecting once again by removing it...
Could be a fault on the motherboard, assuming other desktops means your in an office enviroment with the same type desktops, is the unit still under warrenty?
