Question about Samsung VP-L750 Camcorder
I have a Samsung VP-L700 and i think I have plugged my phone charger into it by mistake. Needless to say it now does not work. It doesnt power up at all and when connected with the correct charger the charging light doesnt come on either. Is there a internal fuse that can be changed or have I fried it.
The majority of electronic manufacturers are aware of users making mistakes with power sources; thus they generally fit electronic devices with a special size input. A small plug will not fit into a large input and visa versa. That eliminates mistakes using various power supplies. I doubt if you fried the Samsung, but stranger things have happened from time to time. Take the 700 to your local provider and ask them to run a test. Go from there.

SOURCE: Samsung VP W95D Hi 8 Camcorder
are you trying to charge the battery while on the camcorder??? does the camcorder work when you plug the camcorder into the charger?? If the battery fails to charge while its on the charger it can only be the charger but most likly the battery. If the camcorders dead it could be the dreaded pana cap think thT HAPPENS TO MOST CAMCORDERS AFTER A LITTLE AGE. good luck

It looks like battery is damaged... When plugged in to charger phone shouldn't power on. Try put it on charger when on and see if charging icon appear. (top right corner-battery status icon should change -insted of battery to charging.) Battery is fully charged after cca 4 hours, 80% after 2 hours.

Return to the carrier for warranty repair.
If you are out of warranty there are some options you can choose from
1. Get repaired
2. New phone
3. external charging source
The external battery charger runs about 20 dollars on ebay with an extra battery.

Find someone else with a glyde and ask them if you can trade them batteries for a day to see if it's a bad battery. ( you can usually buy a battery for $5 on ebay, or up to $20 in your carrier cell phone store)
If the problem follows your old battery, toss it and buy another battery.
And if neither swapping out the charger and the battert solve your problem then its the phone itself. I have called in to our cell companies before and let them know we have a phone that will not hold a charge no matter what battery or charger I use... and they usually replace free it under warranty as long as the phone is less than 12 months old, and the white squares in the battery compartment are still white. (Pink Red means oops! water got in there) and then you’re only getting them to cover replacement if you have cell phone insurance
