My power supply is showing on and nothing is happening, had to replace the power supply last year

This could be a flow problem and you will need to check your pump baskets for junk and make sure your filter is clean. Also you can check your flow switch to be sure it is working.

Toshiba model 57H93 worked perfectly last night. Turned off and went to bed. Turned on this morning, and nothing, it won't turn on. Checked all cords and cables, pushed reset button, and still won't turn on. What could cause this to happen?

The light should be lit on the power supply when its plugged into the wall. Sounds to me like the power supply might be bad. Plug it into another working outlet and if it still doesn't light up then the power supply is bad.

If it lights up then you know the outlet is bad.

Try connecting a different power supply to it. If the same situation repeats, then it's an internal (motherboard) problem. If the problems go away, then the power supply needs to be replaced.

6 years... I'm surprised the PSU even lasted that long! The power supply is the cheapest part of the PC and usually one of the first parts to fail. Don't worry, a replacement power supply is not too expensive. Good luck!

REPLACE THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD. CALL MANUFACTURER FOR NEAREST SERVICE CENTER.

With the power cord getting hot it sounds like there is something up with the power supply section. Perhaps a faulty transformer or something.

had same problem, thought changing power jack would solve problem, but, it turns out the power supply is the problem,, works great with another dell ps

Unplug the power then unplug the 24 pin power connection from the mother board and take paper clip bend it so you can insert it into the holes where the green and the black wire are next to each other, Next you will need a multi meter. Set the multi meter to read dc volts 20 take the red lead and put it into the purple wire hole of the 24 pin connection and the black lead in to the hole with the Black wire on the 24 pin connection. the reading on the Multi meter should read 5.0 volts if it does not and you get a reading of 6.01 or higher then the Mother board has been burnt out and you will need to replace the motherboard and power supply I have been a onsite tech for E-machine for the last 5 years and this has been an ongoing problem with the power supply.

The battery power supply will last for two years and if you don't used nothing its happen to your watch..
