I would like to ask you guys if know were can i find a driver for this modem . I get help before here its very useful ... Thanks in advance because i know that i'm gonna get the needful help

If you are not using the usb connection option for this modem, no drivers are required.

Using a motorola SB5120 SURFboard cable modem and was hook up using a usb cable and would like to change it to a ethernet cable to use a netgear router for a wireless connection for a lap top

You should be able to just unplug the usb and connect the Ethernet cable to the netgear router without any problems.

You need to register your modem with your cable provider. They will need the MAC address which is on the side or Bottom of the unit.

Motorola surfboard sb5120 usb driver problem

Hi, Create a temporary folder say C:\Motorola and put all your unzipped Motorola USB drivers. Install your Cable Modem. If and when Windows asked where the drivers may be located, point to the C:\Motorola. If your modem has already been installed and operational and you simply want to update its current drivers > go to Device Manager and right click on your modem to update, likewise point to the C:\Motorola.
