When i turn my camera on, the screen will be fine for about 5 seconds then it turns completely white, i can still hear the buttons and if i take a video i can still hear it, but the screen is still white. Does anyone know how to fix this problem??
The LCD connector -Flexible has to be pulled out and reconnected after cleaning.Use a good Tweezers so that the film does not get damaged.
If this does not improve, and if the images are ok. after you connect to a PC,the LCD display has to be replaced.
For a service manual or spares you can write to me.

Re: Camera Screen Goes Blank
It could be simply a loose LCD screen connector which would be under $100 from an independent repair shop. Or it might be a defective CCD which is a FREE warranty repair by Sony. Go here to troubleshoot it yourself and get the link to get a mailing label to Sony : http://www.imaging-resource.com/badccds.html

hi try to reset ur camera...To do such reset, turn on the camera and hold
the menu button down for longer than 5 seconds. A message should
hopefully come up on your LCD asking if you want to reset the camera.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Fuji should fix this for you for free. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
You've probably corrupted the firmware download. If the camera is still recognized by your PC then I'd try downloading the firmware again and try to load it again into the camera. I don't wish to upset you but corrupting the firmware can in some instances make the camera unusable.
Your manual should tell you if there's a reset and how to do it.
Don't forget the camera's firmware can also be upgraded by loading the update onto the memory card and running it from there.
