Hi i too had that problem, when an engineer looked at it the thermostat, element were ok,he suggested that there was a blockage in the air flow,i took the whole thing apart ( i had nothing to lose ) cleaned it with a hoover very carefully then with a clean dry paintbrush, there is vents underneath the dryer if these get blocked the dryer blows cold air, its a saftey measure so that the fluff dosent catch fire ! i hope this helps, mine has run ok for 3 months now.

I also have to say that the handbook instructions for cleaning the lint filter are inadequate. Whils it easy to run water through the sides, and straight forward to clean the rear vents with a small srewdiver or similar it is not easy to even see any blockage at the front grill due the front plate blocking your view. I did however have a scrape at the front vents with a right angled soldering scraper. To my astonishment EVERY vent was blocked solid with ancient lint. I removed about a half pound of the stuff from the front alone! I have now decided to make this thorough cleaning of the filter a monthly event.

    EUREKA !!!

Thoroughly cleaning the front vents of filter has worked! I now have normal heat. As I said in solution 2 above the front of the filter needs special attention. The top three openings can be cleaned with a small screwdriver or similar, but the bottom four need something narrow with a right angle to scrape them clean. I used a right angled soldering scraper (a set of six double ended soldering scrapers are available for about £4.99 from Maplin Electronics), but I suppose a bit of stout wire bent to a suitable shape will do just as well.

Candy heat pump tumble dryer not collecting water and taking forever to dry!

Condenser dryers are simple in operation. They use a heater element to force hot air to heat the clothes and turn the water to steam. That steam is turned back into water by drawing cold air into the machine and over the heat exchanger unit and into the drum. The problems with them is that they are slow to dry.

Your best bet is to call for service, and the problem is likely the sensor probe or one of the thermal cut out.

My condenser dryer has a flashing light for "filter care" even after filters have been cleaned. it produces heat and turns, does anyone know why this would happen and what I could do to remedy it?

I expect it has 4" duct exhausting to outside? It's possibly restricted with lint, either at the louvered opening, or in the pipe itself. Spiral plastic vent is particularly restrictive and captures more lint than smooth sheet metal pipe. A restricted exhaust/limited air flow will likely trigger a filter message.

My candy condenser dryer isn't heating up. I have cleaned it and emptied the water canister. The drum is turning ok . just will not heat and all six lights flash after around 15 min.

My tumble dryer is not producing heat and has the clean filter light continually on although the filter is clean?

check your exhaust pipe for obstruction. If it is clear, then you need to change the heating element. You can find the replacement kit on ebay for cheap and it usually comes with instruction.
