Alright so if you got a new sim it's more than probable that the connection is the problem. Remove your sim and take an eraser and clean it gently. Make sure you have the sim connector properly connected to the sim card, so leave the back off and turn it on I had to slide my sim card around a few times for it to work so try that till the message disapears. hope that helps.

Droped my boost mobile phone in toilet. My nephew dried out phone and removed sim card. I bent sim card a little inserting it back. Now im getting a no sim card alert. Do i need a new sim card.

If phone was on when dropped into water the electronics may have been damaged. Clean all sim card contacts and phone contacts and reinsert. If nada, it is damaged.

U might try another sim card to see if that works.

Keeps saying 'please insert sim'

Your SIM card is not being read anymore due to a number of reasons.
Try rubbing the SIM card with a clean smooth dry cloth and then insert it again.
If that doesnt work, your SIM might be damaged, take it to your network provider and they will replace it, hopefully with your same phone number.

Rejecting phone

You have to replace the SIM EMI Filter. It's a very small chip part near the sim connector. Replace it or clean it.

Dropped in water

this happened to me for more then 3 seconds in water for the razor, turn off the phone, remove the battery and SIM card, let it sit in a dry place over night, and check again next day, it should be fully functional

Razor phone not reading sim card

Have you tried a different SIM to make sure that isn't the problem? I'd say 3 out of 4 times when the phone gets wet the other stuff works after it dries, but people constantly have problems with reading the SIM afterwards. Hopefully swapping the SIM card out will help, otherwise your only option is to have a repair shop fix it up for you.
