One solution I found while browsing a forum and the author suggested using the program MPEG Streamclip. It's freeware and can be used to edit movies for the Sansa. Open the file with streamclip, Using the file drop down- choose the "export to quicktime" option, then change the size manually to 220 x 176 and other cropping is up to you, click the "make movie" button. Next you need to start up the Sansa Media Converter and use it to convert the movie you made with streamclip over to your Sansa.
