I have a Lec upright freezer which is working normally, apart from water on top of the freezer. I dry it and then a few hours later it is wet again. The freezer is located in a utility room. Any help would be appreciated. Andy

Humidity level is the cause of the condensation on the freezer. Try ventilating the utility room in some way with fresh air to lower the level of humidity.

Philips Shaver Faulty

Replacement under warranty involves promising to remove the battery from the old shaver and disposing of the battery and the carcass in an environmentally safe way.

The shaver can be split apart after removing three torx screws and then prising the plastic parts apart against their clips. Be VERY careful when releasing the plastic clips inside because they are brittle and fragile.

On opening the cover containing the battery, motor and control circuitry the ingress of water was clear. The shaver is supposed to be wet and dry, has only been used dry but the exterior has been washed.

The water was displaced using WD40. The shaver operated normally straight away. If your shaver's motor starts with the button but stops again half a second later, the problem might be caused by water ingress.

Phone got wet need to take apart to dry...how?

One method that has worked for many people and water damaged phones, (myself included), is to put the phone in small zip lock bag of rice to dry.

Simply disassemble the back cover, remove the battery, and place the phone in a zip-lock bag filled about half way with white rice. The moisture in the phone from the water should be absorbed by the rice after a few hours. This is best done every evening for a week or so until the phone has completely dried out.
It is best not to wait until the phone has dried on it's own after a few days, because if water evaporates on it's own in the phone, it can leave behind residue on the internals of the circuit board.
Good luck!

Touch screen has stopped working and phone sometimes locks up :(

That happened to me and my htc touch hd the other day. I tuned it off, pulled the battery out and let it dry out completely. The touch screen didn't work until a few hours later. However when water happens to an electronic device it usually will need to be replaced. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Side by side leaking water from under freezer side

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Kenmore upright fridge--freezer door drips when cleaning

Condensation has formed and frozen behing the door panel. You can live with it, or take apart the panel and dry it out - you may have to replace some insulation. Hope this helps!

Kenmore Upright Freezer Works Sometime

try a new start relay and overload kit specifically for the make and model freezer you are working on. if compressor can be seen ,the numbers on it can be used to get correct oem start cap, relay ,and overload. if your unit is having starting problems that will usually fix it. if however, the stat is failing to bring it on a new stat is called for. but it sounds like it is having starting problems since you said it was off a long while then still struggled on the overload to start then finally did. if the new start components don't work then new freezer time. compressor replacement is to expensive anymore. good luck
